A Fond Farewell to Lowell Anderson of Ocala, Central Florida & Beyond
Our longtime friend, Lowell Anderson, put away his camera on June 14, 2019. He was a City Daily Photo blogger for many years, balancing his regular blog (most recently titled Ocala, Central Florida & Beyond) with several other Florida-based blogs. He commented often on his friends' blogs, always with a bit of humor.
Lowell was a Minister, Teacher, Writer, Composer, Photographer, Golfer...a man of many talents. He was an accomplished writer of stories, poems, essays, articles and songs. Lowell leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years, Lois Anne, three children, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. HIs obituary can be found at this link: https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/ocala/obituary.aspx?n=lowell-arden-anderson&pid=193160669
R.I.P. Lowell.

ReplyDeleteI am calm today
persuaded by the sunshine
the breeze,the balmy weahter
that they are wrong
that I will beat the odds
that I willlive forever.

Such sad news. Lowell had such a great sense of humour that he shared in his comments. You are missed, R.I.P. my friend.
ReplyDeleteThat's very sad news. Lowell's comments were always a bright spot. Sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. He's deeply missed.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. He and I started our city daily photo communities together and you could always count on Lowell to respond when you commented on his blog. He used to go by "Jacob" back a decade+ ago when the Internet seemed like such a scary place. We both started using our real names about the same time.
ReplyDeleteHis last city daily photo scene was a sunset....
