On January 1 of every year, the City Daily Photo bloggers show their Photo of the Year. That means different things to different people. Some choose the photograph they think was their best, whether by "best" they mean the one that is best composed or best technically or best in another way. Others pick a favorite photograph, which might be a favorite because of fond memories or evoked emotion. Still other photographers show the photo that received the most comments or the strongest comments on their blog, or in Facebook or Instagram.
