A gem of Hartford, Connecticut, is Elizabeth Park, about one hundred acres of formal gardens, green space, recreational facilities, walking loops, and the Pond House Café. It is nationally known for its Rose Garden, the first municipal rose garden in the United States and the third largest rose garden in the country today. The roses peak in the third week of June. This is a 2011 photo from my archives.
On June 1, the City Daily Photo bloggers will show photographs on the subject of "garden," as part of a full year plan to showcase specified parts of their cities on the first day of each month.

Is the subject "garden" or "park"?
ReplyDeleteThe same question I'm having. I have two posts, either of which will do.
