The originator of Charleston Daily Photo moved out of town and in July of 2007 posted a notice looking for someone to take the blog over. Eighteen months later, on December 22, 2008, Joan Perry answered the call. She posted this photo and announced that the blog was under new management. Joan -- the coordinator of volunteers at a Charleston hospital -- has spread her Canadian-bred version of Southern charm ever since. Good going, Joan.

DeleteAmazing consistency and commitment. It's hard to do a daily blog. I have tried and failed to keep it up regularly. Some days there is just nothing I can think of to post, and other days I just don't feel like it. Congrats Joan - you're awesome!
