On September 8, 2007, a web designer in Christchurch, New Zealand, was motivated to start her own daily photo blog to record things she loved about her city. That was an important decision by Michelle Sullivan in unexpected ways. In 2010 and then again in 2011 Christchurch was hit by severe earthquakes that devastated the city. Michelle's previous images preserve a key record of many structures that were lost.
Michelle tries to post one or more photos every day, but, like most of us, sometimes life intervenes and keeps her away. Still, she has been a regular contributor within the CDP community, and her blog now serves an even more critical purpose for her city.
