Let's Celebrate a New Guy!
Twice a month the City Daily Photo portal's home page has recognized a longtime blogger, often ten year anniversaries or the like. Today, let's do something different. Let's celebrate a "new guy." William Kendall! from Ottawa Daily Photo.
Sometime in 2007 or so, we began seeing regular appreciative comments on our posts from William. He was always positive about our work (though we have learned since that William has a salty side not seen in his CDP comments). After watching our posts for months, on September 13, 2013, Ottawa Daily Photo announced its birth with a loud trumpet flourish. William was one of us.
William still visits our posts faithfully. He encourages us with his comments, but now he also shows us the beauty of Canada's capital city and its institutions and cityscape. Nice to have you, William.

Bravo! William is a steadfast and positive commenter and poster on CDP as well as FB. A very good choice as an aberration from the regular honoree.
ReplyDeleteWilliam is a star commenter, really amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteI have a salty side? Really?
ReplyDeleteThank you William for your support and comments!
ReplyDeleteYes, William is doing a fantastic job to show us so many beautiful places in Ottawa with his own photos and info. I am also happy to read his comments on my blog. I might be wrong, but to me it looks like Ottawa has more Tulips than Amsterdam. (And I love all the ice sculptures he is showing us at the winter time. )
ReplyDeleteyay for william! i always enjoy visiting his blog and his kind words on mine!
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone!

Congratulations William!!! Great to see you honored!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you do it all, you are everywhere. Comments on the blogs, the great tours of Ottawa that you share with all of us. I appreciate all you do and am so glad that you love what you do, taking photos and sharing them along with your dialogue. I thank you, William!
